“Wächter des Lichts”. Ein aufwendig produziertes Hörspiel im Stil von “Herr der Ringe” wird kombiniert mit der Flaming Bess typischen Musik.
Offen für Neues, liebe Hörer ? Mit "Wächter des Lichts" liegt etwas absolut Neues im Player und ihr lauscht ganz gebannt dem ersten Hörspiel, welches in Verbindung mit Musik die Ohren erreicht.
Prog Rock, verbunden mit Elektronik, Space Rock-Sequenzen und starken, sphärischen Gitarren begleiten die Story um die Götter 'Flaming Bess' und 'Arkana'.
Es ist sehr schwer, einen der musikalischen Tracks besonders hervorzuheben. Unbedingt erwähnen muss ich aber "Aklabeth", denn die Stimmung, die die beiden Sängerinnen Sarah Joswig und Erika Naidenow durch laszive und soulige Vocals verbreiten, ist großes Kino. Dazu knarrt ein furztrockener Bass und auch die Gitarrensaiten jaulen, dass es eine wahre Pracht ist.
In "Der Dieb" steigt die Stimmung in Sphären, die normalerweise von Musikern wie Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons, Beggars Opera usw. bewohnt sind. Jenny K. sorgt mit Gänsehaut-Stimme für Akzente und Achims Gitarrenarbeit ist einfach eine Wucht.
Progressive, psychedelische, elektronische Musik in perfekter Symbiose, begleiten wunderbare Melodien und Hooks, für deren Anzahl normalerweise mehr als ein Album vonnöten ist. Mit Sara England sorgt eine weitere Frau mit starker Stimme für wohlige Schauer. Und da anscheinend Frauen im Line-up gern gesehen/gehört sind, gibt Anika Rademacher eine leicht jazzige Vorstellung im letzen Musikstück "Endloser Fall", bevor sinnigerweise "Sphärenmusik" als Texttrack (allerdings mit musikalischer Umrahmung) das Album beendet.
Wer nun mehr über die Himmelsburgen, die Sphärenharfe, 'Alexey', den Dieb sowie den Dämonen 'Cathul' wissen möchte und dabei wahrlichen Sphärenprog in Verbindung mit modernen, elektronischen Sounds genießen, ja einsaugen möchte, dem kann ich Flaming Bess als Band und als Göttin nur empfehlen. Ich jedenfalls bin bereits jetzt auf eine Fortsetzung gespannt.

"Waechter des Lichts". An elaborately produced radio play in the style of "Lord of the Rings" is combined with the music typical of Flaming Bess. Open to new things, dear listeners? With "Waechter des Lichts" there is something absolutely new in the player, and you listen spellbound to the first radio play, which reaches your ears in connection with progressive music.
Prog rock combined with electronics, space rock sequences and strong, spherical guitars accompany the story about the gods 'Flaming Bess' and 'Arkana'.
It's very hard to single out one of the musical tracks. But I definitely have to mention "Aklabeth", because the mood that the two singers Sarah Joswig and Erika Naidenow spread through lascivious and soulful vocals is great cinema. In addition, a fart-dry bass creaks and the guitar strings howl, that it is a real splendor.
In "The Thief" the mood rises to spheres normally inhabited by musicians such as Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons, Beggars Opera and so on. Jenny K. provides accents with goosebumps voice and Achim's guitar work is just a stunner.
Progressive, psychedelic, electronic music in perfect symbiosis, accompanied by wonderful melodies and hooks, the number of which usually takes more than one album. With Sara England, another woman with a strong voice is responsible for pleasant shivers. And since women seem to be welcome/heard in the line-up, Anika Rademacher gives a slightly jazzy performance in the last piece of music "Endloser Fall" before the album ends with "Sphere Music" as a text track (albeit with a musical accompaniment).
If you want to know more about the celestial castles, the sphere harp, 'Alexey', the thief and the demon 'Cathul' and enjoy true sphere prog in connection with modern, electronic sounds, I can recommend Flaming Bess as a band and as a Goddess only recommend. Anyway, I'm looking forward to a sequel.
