A lyrical nightsea crossing through a mysterious twilight world, the album is the second part of the Music of the Spheres that began with Wächter des Lichts. With a cast of inspiring international guests along for the ride.
The album features over 70 minutes of genre blending Progressive Rock and modern Electronica. As the road leads through paradoxical geographies and nightmarish sceneries, crossing otherworldly borders to ethereal soundscapes, you never know where it will lead. Eine einsame Stimme im Schweigen des Nachtwalds. Das Lodern schwarzer Flammen. Und der goldene Schweif eines fallenden Sterns in der Finsternis. So beginnt das sechste Abenteuer der sagenumwobenen Sternenprinzessin Flaming Bess. Fünf Jahre nach ihrem letzten Album und stärker denn je zuvor melden sich die legendären Düsseldorfer Progrocker mit Der Gefallene Stern zurück. Der zweite Teil der mit Wächter des Lichts begonnenen Sphärenmusik ist eine lyrische Nachtmeerfahrt durch eine mysteriöse Zwielichtswelt.
Über 70 Minuten werden paradoxe Geographien und musikalische Grenzen gleichermaßen durch- und überschritten, wachsen aus Progressive Rock und Elektronica immer neuen, sphärische Klanglandschaften heran, in denen ausgewählte Gäste aus aller Herren Länder inspirierende Wegbegleiter abgeben.
